OneGate Photo Submission Guidelines
If you’d like to submit videos or photos, please email us at onegateweb AT gmail.com with your media attached or with a link to where the photos/videos can be viewed. Please also include a brief description of the photo and when and where it was taken.
You can submit photos or video if:
~ You're a member of your community with an awesome picture of an event, landmark, or other people in the community
~ You're a business with some cool photos of your food, your store, or your employees
~ You're a nonprofit organization that needs some publicity
~ You've got some great pics you want to share with the rest of the community
~ anything else you can think of!
If we post your photo/video, we’ll include:
~ A caption/description
~ Your name and the name of your business if it’s relevant
~ A link to your website or blog if you have one
Before emailing us, please read the following guidelines:
1. We welcome your photo submissions for OneGate’s Photos of the Day and other future projects. Currently, our only “Photo of the Day” service is located on OneGate for 95616; in the future, we hope to create additional Daily Photo services.
2. You can submit a photo of landmarks around town, a tasty dish your restaurant makes, annual events, an item of clothing related to your community, or any other photo or video that shows how unique and wonderful your community and its residents are.
3. You retain ownership of your photo or video. By emailing us, you are giving us permission to display your photo or video and to use your name in our Photo of the Day and the Photo of the Day Archives.
4. Please keep photos and videos relevant to the community to which you are submitting. Media should be taken within or around the regional area and/or feature community members.
5. Your video or photo may be resized to fit within the space available – the current space has a width of 290 pixels. You can submit photos of any size, but please be aware that if a photo doesn’t look right after resizing, we may not display it.
6. We reserve the right not to display or link to any content we find offensive, inappropriate or irrelevant.
7. We do not guarantee that we will post your photo, description or link to specified websites.
