There are a number of art museums and galleries on campus, for those wishing to experience a creative escape during their time at UC Davis. Most are only open weekday afternoons during the school year, but hours vary.

Design

The Design Museum features displays related to national and international use of design materials, including architecture, fashion, textiles and graphic design. The Design Collection complements and encourages the Design Department's curriculum.

Founded by the Department of Native American Studies in 1973, the Carl N. Gorman Gallery displays Native American culture and history through art.

Nelson Gallery

The Nelson Gallery features three exhibits a year and the Masters of Fine Arts show, showcasing the work of students pursuing their Masters of Fine Arts from UC Davis. All exhibits are chosen to complement and encourage the Art Department's curriculum.
