Annual Events

    Picnic Day Third Saturday of April 9 AM – 5 PM. Picnic Day is the UC Davis' annual open house and is one of the largest student-run events in the country. It occurs mainly on campus, but the parade travels through downtown.

    Whole Earth Festival Mother's Day Weekend, Friday - Sunday. Vendors celebrate Mother Earth on campus by selling arts and crafts, hemp clothing, massages, henna tattoos, and more, while others dance and eat.

    Celebrate Davis! Third Thursday in May. The Davis Chamber of Commerce celebrates local business in Community Park from 4:30 - 9:30 PM.

    Change of Pace organizes local races in downtown including the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving and the Davis Stampede in February. Proceeds benefit local non profit organizations.
