"All the news that's fit to print:" The New York Times is an internationally distributed and trusted newspaper based in New York City and is the largest metropolitan newspaper in the US.
Times Square in New York City is named after the New York Times ; the paper’s headquarters were located there during the years 1904 - 1913. This is also the location where, in 1907, The New York Times began the New Year's Eve tradition of dropping a lighted ball at midnight.
