Send in your photos for Davis Photo of the Day

Have you checked out our Davis Photo of the Day yet? It’s a cool new service on OneGate for 95616 that we introduced a couple weeks ago. We’re displaying a different photo or video of Davis each week day that captures the uniqueness, beauty and community of Davis. So far we’ve:

 ~ shown what Davis looks like in the spring, with vibrant pink flowers in Central Park and cloud formations over the fields in north Davis,

 ~ shown landmarks in and around Davis like the Clepsydra in the E Street Plaza and Stephenson Bridge just west of Davis,

 ~ and let you know about a great way to help out the animal community by fostering adorable cats and dogs for the Yolo County SPCA as they wait to be adopted.

We’d love to see your photo or video on our Davis Photo of the Day! Whether you’re a photography nut with a gazillion photos of Davis, a local business with cool photos of your shop or restaurant, a nonprofit organization wanting some help plugging your latest project, or just a Davis-lover, send us your stuff. If we like your media, we’ll post it one day with your name, a description, and a link to your website or blog. After that, we’ll move it over to the Archives.
