We’re happy to announce a new change: detailed service pages. We already had individual webpages for each service you find on OneGate’s pages, but we’ve enhanced them with additional information and made them more accessible. Internet Accessability: IE Accelerators, OpenSearch and OneGate

The internet is a-changing... Internet Explorer 8 (still in beta) has a new feature: the accelerator. Accelerators are intended to make your internet experience faster and more immediate. Choose the accelerators you want (from the sites that offer them), install them, and then you can access other websites without leaving the website you’re already on. Ed Bott from ZDNet has a simple definition: "Accelerators are basically widgets that work on a web page selection or the contents of the Clipboard."

Christmas in LA: Finding the Perfect Tree

Christmas is my favorite holiday. I love hearing Christmas music everywhere I go, I love the minty coffee drinks, I love the feel-good movies and the sense of camaraderie in public. When I was a kid, we cut down our Christmas tree every year; my brother and I would fight over who got to carry the handsaw (my dad inevitably took it away from us), we always yelled "Timber!" when my dad cut down the perfect tree, and my brothers and I would fall asleep on the way home, exhausted and sticky from tree sap and the free candy canes we got at the exit.
