2008 Democratic Convention Meets in Denver Aug 24-28
It’s almost time to get your vote on, but first we need some official nominees! Starting today through Thursday the 28th, the 2008 Democratic Convention will meet in Denver, Colorado to officially nominate a Democrat to run for President. Now, we might be going out on a limb here, but we’re guessing it’s going to be (spoiler alert!) Barack Obama.
Each night of the convention will feature a “headline prime-time speaker,” plus many other speakers. Tonight’s headliner will be Michelle Obama, wife of Barack Obama. Tuesday night hear from Hillary Clinton, on Wednesday Vice Presidential nominee Joe Biden will speak, and tune in Thursday to watch Obama make history by accepting the Democratic nomination for President of the United States. Check the official schedule of events for additional speakers.
