About One Gate
What is OneGate?
OneGate was created to make web software, services and tools more accessible and convenient. We believe in the power and possibilities of web based software. Web based software has the potential to solve a number of important problems like piracy, downloading software patches over and over again, and multiple version maintenance. In short we believe web software will make life better for both users and developers. However, web software has its own problems, and we are here to help address some of the less technical problems of web software, such as providing affordable marketing, organizing web tools around tasks, and developing better interfaces.
While the OneGate concept has morphed over time, my passion behind developing this platform owes a debt of gratitude to the designers and interface masters, such as Jef Raskin, Edward Tufte, Steve Krug, and my former collegues at IDEO that validated my sense of the importance of making things beautiful and useful.
I also want to thank the great people at Blue River that are responsible for helping me bring my visions into working code. OneGate runs on BlueRiver's content management system that allows me to easily organize and reuse the services.
OneGate is currently looking to raise additional seed funding to build out customization features, multi-language support, advanced tools, and additional services. Please contact us about partnership and funding discussions.
